Wee piano needed

A white vinca petal fluttering to the ground?  Maybe the very blossom the little dusky skipper was trying to slurp from on Wednesday?

But no, this was something worth finding the camera and stepping out into the heat. A white moth in a cape edged with gold. Golden bangles. Golden crown. A mystery. Could it be Delicate cycnia (Hodges #8230)? I'm not totally convinced because I don't see bangle bracelets in the Bug Guide photos.

With garden hose for scale.

Later, when I go back out to check on it, I see it has golden sunglasses, too.  It is hanging around upside down. If I could find a teeny tiny piano, it would look like Elton John.
