Young ladies at the lake

On a gorgeous noon hour I walked down to the lake, watching red-tailed hawks, knobby geese, families, and photoshoots in progress. "The lake" is very manicured, not a wild body of water, and the feeling is of stepping into Seurat's painting, you know the one.

A bevy of young women were assembling, each wearing a gray dress of their choice, all different shades, styles, and bits of sparkle. Some wore wraps of chiffon. They might have been insulted if I complimented them on their moth attire.

Gorgeous in gray
My moths are assembling for the crowd-source project, but I'm not quite ready to let them go.
